The fallacy of discrete authentic leader behaviours: Locating authentic leadership in interaction

The concept of authentic leadership is increasingly the focus much scholarship, and many have called for a review basic assumptions that underpin it. Taking an interactional approach to (AL) using naturally occurring workplace interaction as data, we seek question two AL namely (1) emanates from atomized leader (2) there causal logic it so behaviours are cause follower outcomes. Addressing research questions – what nature empirical phenomenon where can this be ontologically located? our findings indicate these fundamental current not justified. Rather, taken better understood collective collaborative achievement, which neither simply attributed nor leader’s actions alone lead
